I registered my first domain in July 2001 with the same company that my father was using (for hosting too!). He was still using them when he died.
But they’re shit. And getting shitter.
And so today, I’m looking (not for the first time) at how to move it all somewhere less shit, without losing something precious (like my stepmother’s e-mail account).
PS If anyone sees this, and wants to reply, I’m happy to hear tales of solidarity, but I’m not really looking for recommendations, or SaaS solutions.
